Hello everyone! This past week, I hosted another "Black Business Live". In this live, I featured Krownedbykenn, Raw Creations Bath and Body, Dfrnt Hype, Isrēi Naturals, and Studio8Twenty1.
I started the talk by talking to Raw Creations Bath and body. Raw Creations Bath and Body is an all natural skin care company. In the live she explained that she founded her business in her own search to find skincare products that were made for her by people who look like her and also were natural. When describer her brand she said, "All this stuff today that is just so manufactured, and this is not that". All her products are 100% natural so if you don't like chemicals this is the skin care for you!
Next, I talked to two of the three CEOs of Dfrnt Hype. Dfrnt hype is a clothing brand that is focused around exactly what the name says, To be different from the hype! "If you really tryna get some where and tryna, you know, really be up there with those bigger brands, consistency is key." says Andrew. Dfrnt Hype is nothing if not consistent with new products and collections dropping constantly. The brand is one of the more known brands in the DMV and is well on their way to becoming the next EAT.
After them, I talked to the CEO of Studio8Twenty1and Isrēi Naturals. Studio8twenty1 is the salon side of the brand where he does everything thing from coloring to micro-links and blowouts. Isrēi Naturals is the product line including shampoo, conditioner and the newest addition, silk scrunchies to protect the curls. "I want to make my brand Isrēi the next Camille Rose" says CEO, Darren. His love for hair streams from a young age that is shown in his amazing work. Go to him for just about anything and you will come out looking bomb and feeling better.
The last teenpreneur was the CEO of KrownedbyKenn. KrownedbyKenn is a hair company that specializes in wig installation but also does braids, soft locs, and much much more! When asked how to cope with annoying clients CEO, Kennedy, responded,"Its all in the way you express yourself". She is a CEO how believes heavily in power of customer service and word of mouth. If you are reading this and looking for your new stylist, you just found her!
